Are the required components installed and configured?

For example, the "Is Web Cache Working?" demonstration will work only if you have installed and configured the Web Cache component. The list of demonstrations only reflects the components that are installed and configured during the initial installation.

Are the required components running?

Demonstrations work only if their components and OC4J demo instances are already running. You can use Oracle Enterprise Manager to check the status of and start up Oracle Application Server components and OC4J demo instances.

Have you made any post-installation changes?

Demonstrations may not work if you have made post-installation changes to items such as port assignments, hostnames, virtual host settings, and IP addresses.
